Knee pain
Your health care team will make every effort to help you manage your pain, but pain is common in the initial days and weeks after a significant knee injury.
Anti-inflammatory medication is NOT recommended as inflammation kickstarts the healing process.
Putting ice around the knee joint for ten to 15 minutes can help with pain. Make sure you have something between the ice and the skin (like a damp tea towel).
